Skofterud has been fairly open about her personal life. Her natural beauty led the Norwegian edition of the men's magazine FHM to ask her to pose for cheesecake pictures in the mag. She turned down the offer after pressure from the Norwegian skiing federation. Unfortunately for Skofterud, in 2004 her laptop with several private photos were stolen and some of these images appeared on the internet. Skofterud has also suffered from eating disorders. ...
